Day 93, Vietnam, Rach Gia
Vietnam is a taff country and you have always to pay a lot of attention. Until today everything went really good and better than expected. Today I took a boat to the wrong direction and didn't know really well if I will find a bus, who brings me to the destination I want to arrive in the evening. After my arrival at the harbour as usual many locals try to sell me every kind of stuff or bring me everywhere for high prices. A motorbike taxi driver gained my attention as he seemed to be serious. He was really gentle and helped me for my questions. He told me that he can drive me to the bus station and at 11 o'clock I will find a bus, which brings me to Chau Doc. The price was okay and he was really nice. Was really nice, yes, because in the end I fell down in a really smart trap. He drove me directly to the bus, I will have to take. He told me the fee was 150'000 for the bus ride. As I had only a big note, he offered me that I can pay the money to him for the taxi ride and the bus ride. I wanted to have a ticket for the bus ride, but he told me they don't use to give tickets. Stupidly I gave him the money and he went away. Later on I found out that he asked me the triple price of the normal one. Well I didn't lost a lot of money but the fact that I didn't remark the trap he built up for me worried me. The evening in Chau Doc was really great. I spent a good time with another taxi rider, who was much more nice than the first one. I will leave Vietnam tomorrow morning and I feel really sad about that. I nearly spent one month in this wonderful country!
