Day 146, India, Sikkim, Yuksom
After meeting some people that just came back from a 8 days long guided trek towards the highest mountain of India and by passing a pass of nearly 5'000 meters altitude I have to take the decision if I want to do the same trek. In the end I prefer to continue my easy going monastery loop and to see more of the villages and the local life, as I am going to other Himalayan regions in the next weeks. My picture of Sikkim are wonderful green hills, nice views, flowers, tribe villages, good food, peaceful monasteries and small and big monks and by this trek I am seeing all these things.
