Day 161, Nepal, Kali Gandaki River, Rafting Day 1
The first of three rafting days starts in a big hurry. I have to pack my backpack in the early morning after having had a long night. We ride as a group towards the starting point of the rafting. In the afternoon we raft for 3 hours. I enjoy the ride and have lots of fun! The weather is okay and the river seems to promise a lot of action. The scenery with its green and red colors is magical. I feel good to be in the middle of an untouched nature. The river goes through very remote areas of Nepal. Mainly not-inhabited we sometimes also go through small villages. People are curious and observe us. Right now I am writing my diary at the camping place. Beautiful tribe children are running and playing around me. They seem to enjoy their simple life without material possessions.
