The teaching process

Day 208, Malawi, Ruarwe

For the next couple of days I will give the double amount of IT lessons. Staff members are very glad to get some IT lessons and I am happy to observe their development. The library of NYM is very big. All books have been donated by single persons or institutions. Books are divided in sections and you can find everything from leisure lecture to scientific papers. Especially in the mornings many young adults use the library for their studies. I am glad to see how the community uses actively the provided infrastructure. Malawi's school system provides a 8 years long free-of-charge primary education, which is followed by a 4 years long secondary education thst has to be paid. Te quality, however, especially in this remote area is really weak, as there is a lack of teachers.
