Day 38, Thailand, Bangkok
The first day of my life in Asia! I feel a little bit disorientated and also tired, as I traveled the whole night. It is hotter than in the Middle East, there are at least 30 degrees. Everything changes from the things I saw during the past weeks. Here everything is green, you have plenty of Tuk Tuk's, motorbike taxis, food stands, all kind of I don't know what stands and so on. The nightlife here in Bangkok is awesome, especially for me, as I was in the no-nightlife part of the world, the Middle East. Bangkok has a huge quantity of Wat's (Buddhist temple complexes) and when you see them with your own eyes, they are even more beautiful than on TV. People don't walk around with traditional clothes and socialize much more than in Oman. They talk to you all the time. Sometimes with good intentions and sometimes to sell you overpriced things. I have to pay more attention and always break down the prices. Never do something without discussing over the price in advance. Tonight I share my room with 3 Chinese and 2 Brazilians the youth hostel is very good and you talk with people from all over the world. I also saw already some Ladyboys, maybe there were much more of them but I didn't recognise them. Haha. Crazy Thailand!
