Day 16, Yemen, Socotra Island, Firmi
On the picture you can see a Cucumber Tree with flowers and the Dragon's Blood Tree. The big one is used as the symbol of Socotra Island. The size of the Tree is very big and the word Blood comes from its interior. It is red. Today I visited the village of Stero. It is at the beach and I think it will be my most preferred village. I spent all the time with local young men's and children. We organized our third football match of Socotra and later we went swimming together and had a lot of fun. Around 50 children were always walking with me. Sometimes it's a strange feeling, but they are always very polite and if you do not want to speak they can use their time by observing what you are doing. Tonight I will sleep in an empty Socotri house. By the way I am improving my language skills :-)
