Feeling as a Bedouin

Day 12, Yemen, Socotra Island, Iresl Beach

Already after 3 days of my world trip people started to speak the Arabic language to me. They thought I would be from Marrakesh. Now after two weeks different young and old people are asking me if I am a Bedouin. Sounds funny! As I learned some Arabic words and short sentences I can use to get in touch with them, they often feel confused. Today I have been invited for a traditional meal at the family of my driver. We ate on the floor (as usual) under a cave. We had a good time. Around 30 to 40 mens were sitting around and eating a traditional cooked goat with rise. I weared a traditional rock as the Socotri people use to. After lunch I stood up and my rock felt down. People laughed as I had only my bathing costume under the rock :-)
