Day 60, Laos, Bokeo National Reserve
The shower of the tree house is amazing. Only towards the rest of the house it is protected, but towards the jungle you can just admire the view while taking your shower. You feel to be part of the jungle. Of the life that is inside this huge forests. There is a strong connection between life and jungle. The forest is home for a very large variety of animals. They all are forced to live in the natural life-cycle. Some will survive because of others, while some will die because of others. The deforestation destroys a lot of animals and the protection of such places is very important. After leaving the jungle I took a bus towards Luang Namtha. The bus ride was so slow. It was too funny for me. It took like 3 or 4 hours for a distance of not more than 120 km. At one point the bus driver stopped for about one hour and went out to get lunch. Laos is slow. Laos is easy. It is a country full of beauty. During the bur ride I met a crazy tourist from Macau. He stopped the bus as he was walking since 30km. He tries to get to China. In his opinion a real tourist is only a walking tourist.
