Playing in the river

Day 70, Laos, Muang Ngoi Neua

My third day travelling on the Nam Ou river. People who live here use the river during their whole lives. Children use it to play, adults use it to work as fishermen or to catch algae. Additionally they use it to wash themselves, to do the laundry and even to get energy in the village, for that they have primitive constructions made by bamboo trees.
