The bus towards Vietnam finally arrived. It was a 35 seater, overfilled with 50 people. As they didn't fix properly my backpack I squeezed myself in the bus with the backpack. The result was a 7 hours long journey trip. The ride was only 130 km long but the road was horrible. I had of course only a standing place. Actually there was no place, but I invented one for me and my bag. Arrived in Vietnam you recognize suddenly after the border the first differences. People drive much more aggressive, the landscape is wonderful with a lot of rice paddies. Vietnam is much more healthier than Laos. Finally arrived at the Dien Bien Phu bus station, people jumped on the bus to try to get you to their guesthouse. Welcome in Vietnam :-)
