On the bus through Cambodia

Day 101, Cambodia, Siem Reap

I will take a bus today that leads me through a big part of the country. The ride is not really spectacular. After 10 weeks in Southeast Asia I am used to see the things that I see right now on this journey. They already seem to be normal to me. I am reading a book of a woman that witnessed as a young girl the time of the Khmer Rouge. Her story and the story of her whole family is so sad that I have to stop regularly the reading. It is filled with emotions. The story is heart-breaking. In the afternoon during one of the many rests we have I remember that I have still to take the picture of the day and the result was this one. My eyes see only this picture motive in the rest area. Sorry for that.
