Day 124, India, Kerala, Munnar
I am ready for today's trekking through the tea plantations and spice gardens of Munnar. I am walking alone with a guide. He is incredibly friendly. His wife prepared a breakfast for us two. The colours of the tea plantations are beautiful. There are so many different greens, it is astonishing. The women, who are working in the tea plantations have a really taff job. I admire them by observing them. I have the chance to talk to one of these women. They all seem to be very happy. I am in the mountains and the climate is much nicer here. It is less humid and less hot. Especially during the night the temperatures go down. I even see a monkey during the trekking. I wasn't aware that monkey's can live in such high altitudes. I am walking on about 2'000 meters above sealevel. By the way, I am changing my plans for the north of India. More mountains and less towns :-)
