Sending Packages

Day 132, India, Karnataka, Mysore

The past few days I bought different things for my family and friends. As yesterday was a holiday I am going today to the post office. Arrived at the office the woman explains me that the office is closed, for another holiday. In India you have plenty of religious holidays. After asking several people I find the solution. In India you have to parcel your packages, the man that is doing this job for me is sending the packages tomorrow. It takes him more than two hours to get all packages ready. Not because I am sending hundreds of packages, but because he is doing every package with his own hands. Human workforce has still a very great value in India and it is fantastic to observe him. Sometimes I feel to be back in the past.
