Day 179, India, Himachal Pradesh, Vashisht, Enfield Day 5
There was a heavy rain last night. The owner wakes me up at 5.45 am telling me that I have to leave. 19 kilometers of an unpaved road with stones and mud are waiting for me. The track goes steeply downhill and the first part passes a pine forest. But first of all I have to fix again my bike, as it is not running. Within 5 days I learned so much that I feel to be a half-mechanical now. The road is way to difficult for me and I am sliding and even falling several times. As I have no other option I continue and continue. Finally I and also my bike survive the whole descend without injuries. In the valley I feel once more to be back in the civilization. This evening I will give back my bike, knowing that the old Enfield lady offered me 5 days full of action.
