Day 196, Malawi, Lilongwe
PICTURE INFECTED BY A VIRUS :-(
Finally, after a 30 hours long journey I am in Malawi, the warm hearth of Africa! A new continent, a new world! Lilongwe is a one million town and the capital of Malawi. However, it is not at all developed. The town center consists in one square with a few shopping opportunities. India is still in my mind and I start to compare the things that my eyes are capturing with the images of India that are alive in my mind. Less pollution, less disorder, less noise, less people, less shops, less food stalls, less traffic. Everything seems in a reduced scale compared to India. People are walking everywhere, carrying everything on their heads. People are black. The roads are dusty red. People are extremely friendly and they don't act with a business mind. They are curios and happy to spend some words with a white guy. Right now I feel a little overwhelmed about the abrupt change from India to Malawi. It is impressive to sit in a plane and change the world that is surrounding you within a few hours of flight.
