Day 197, Malawi, Nkhata Bay
PICTURE INFECTED BY A VIRUS :-(
I am happy to leave already the quite non-interesting capital of Malawi and head towards the north. It is a little challenge to catch a bus and I have to stand for the whole journey. We are way too much passengers in the bus and the driver has to pay a fine at one of many police checkpoints because of that. Apparently it is way more attractive to pay a daily fine for a overloaded bus and get a higher amount of cash, because you are selling more tickets. Again people are really lovely on the journey and extremely friendly. I am impressed. Their culture really invites you to do something for them. On the journey I realize that Malawi is a walking country. The whole population is walking around. It is an amusement to observe this new world.
