World's largest meteorite

Day 242, Namibia, Tsumkwe

After observing tons of animals we decide to drive towards the poorest and most remote area of Namibia. Known as the bushmanland this area is hoke of the San tribes or bushmans. We read that they are confronted with many problems. Most of them have suffered persecutions during and after the colonization time. On the way there we stop at a farm, where the world's largest meteorite impacted on the earth 80'000 years ago. Well, it is not very spectacular to observe and looks more than a rock made out of strange materials. Arrived at the small village of the San family that hosts us we go together towards a waterhole and observe how a clan of more than 30 elephants drinks and takes it bath from the waterhole.
