Day 289, Colombia, Comunidad 7 Agosto
After stamping out my passport in Colombia, stamping in Brazil, buying the boat ticket for next week I am ready for a new experience. I take a public boat towards a small village, but on the boat I meet again the people from Cali that are traveling with some locals and in the end I change completely my plans. At night we reach the final destination of the public transport, a small village in Peru where El Che lived for more than one year and with a small wooden fisher boat we continue the adventure to an unknown destination. What an experience to ride on Rio Amazon at night without any lights in a small wooden boat. The stars give us some pollution-free light and after crossing the huge river we enter the small community of 7 Agosto. I am again in Colombia and nearly the whole village wants to welcome us. They have a small house made for tourists but everything is still very virgin, without the collaboration with any tourist organization. Therefore we plan together the activities we want to do. He community seems very healthy, compared to other indigenous i lived with and extremely communicative. Their origin is from Peru and their ancestors are Incas. That is why they all look so strong!
