Day 342, Argentina, Puerto Madyn
Another drive leads me to Punta Tombo, the biggest South America migration spot for penguins. Half a million penguins reach this place for the breeding season. I see penguins sleeping, lying in their nests, walking, calling, lying over baby eggs, newborn babies protected under their mothers, taking flees out from each other, nourishing their babies, washing themselves in the sea, a confused lama walking through the penguin colony, a bird robbing an egg, opening the egg and eating the unborn baby. It is a national geographic day!
