Day 341, Argentina, Puerto Madryn
I reach the Peninsula of Valdes by car. Here I jump into a boat. This boat brings me next to the area where the whales are. I am lucky and can observe them properly and from very near. Mothers with their babies, communicating together. Babies drinking milk from the mothers and the big wales observing us curiously. Our boat has a size of 12 meters. The whales are 15 meters long, 45 tons heavy. Very impressive!
