You get really well-educated here. Many Cubans decide to do more than one university degrees. But afterwards it is very probable to not get a job in your educational career. If you get one you are paid miserably. On the other side I nearly can't see people living on the streets or living in an absolutely strong poverty. The Cuban system is different. The majority has own-created side jobs and uses the proper job just to get some services like an access to internet or to take stuff home and sell it on the black market. Cuba is a country of creative people that invent to reach a better life. A problem that is sad to observe is the sex tourism. Prostitution is prohibited officially but allowed unofficially to attract this kind of tourism and in order that the business, which belongs to the state, works better.
