Meeting bedouins

Day 30, Oman, Sharqiya Sands
What a full day! My day started at 7 am in the desert spending a nice time with a bedouin and ended up at 10.30 pm after the visit at the protected turtles nesting site, where I saw green female turtles doing a hole, lying their eggs (100 gulf ball size eggs) and going back to the sea and baby turtles coming out of the eggs and jumping in the sea. In the middle of the two activities I did some walking in a wonderful Wadi (Bani Khalid) and visited a cave with locals. In the desert I had the opportunity to see a small bedouin village. I saw how they live and what they are doing during the day. It was very interesting. I also met various camels and even two baby camels. The desert is amazing. You can cool down yourself and it gives a lot of energy to your body. During the day I stopped in a small town to get a fresh juice. People were curious but we couldn`t communicate a lot as they couldn`t speak english. When I wanted to pay an Arabic young man told me that he already paid for me. And he even didn`t know who I am and what my name was! I was impressed. Let me continue with my people list. In Socotra I met a caveman. He wanted to buy an Italian woman from me. I negotiated just for fun and wanted to exchange an Italian one with a Socotri one. But he declined. He offered me some animals and also his cave, but there was no possibility of an exchange.
