Where are the spirits?

Day 27, Oman, Bahla
On the way to Nizwa I planned two stopovers. One at the castle of Jabrin and another one at the fort of Bahla (UNESCO World Heritage). The castle is very big and also funny. You can walk everywhere and you get lost all the time. Lights and shadows at the castle inspire me to take a lot of pictures. Too much pictures, that I have to delete later on. Bahla is impressive. The fort is from the 12th century and is surrounded by battlements. The walls extend for 7km. It seems to be the very small version of the Chinese Wall. The old houses around the fort are mostly abandoned. Doors are open and you can explore them by your own. Sometimes it is a little bit dangerous, but everything went fine. During the afternoon I visited several souqs or markets of Nizwa. Goats, spices, vegetables and fruits, dates, fish, meat...
People are very friendly also in this country.
