First Indian mainland town

Day 114, India, Tamil Nadu, Tiruvannamalai

After saying goodbye to the wonderful Islands of the Andamans I am ready to explore the Tamil Nadu region. After my arrival I remark that only a few people are able to speak English and so I have to communicate with gestures. I am enjoying a black tea and while I am drinking I am convinced that this beverage will be my loyal friend for the next period. The smells, the colors and the sounds of life capture my attention. Already a short walk in the lively town is a fascination. Life in India is completely different from the rest of the world. Everything changes. People are very friendly and extremely curious. They want to know everything about me.
