The heat of the stones

Day 134, India, Karnataka, Hampi

Today I am visiting the ruins of Hampi. Another Unesco World Heritage Site I am admiring during this travel. You feel to be in another world at Hampi. It is beautiful. The weather is horrible. It is really hot. Over 40 degrees and the ruins are all stones. It is a temperature I have never experienced like that. In these days is an Indian festival going on in Hampi, I am meeting many Indians. Especially Indians from villages have rarely seen a white man. They want to touch me, they smile at me, walk with me, ask an infinity of questions and want many pictures. They tell you like, sit with us and relax a little. It is everything else than relaxing when all children touch you and want pictures from you. But it is a nice experience and I enjoy the hot day.
